As some of you might know already, I will be a quite a lot less active in good ol’ Drupalland in the upcoming half year, as I’ll do a voluntary service in Ecuador. My flight goes on Sunday, Sept. 30 on 7:15 am from Stuttgart (That’s also why I wasn’t at the Drupalcon in Barcelona, which really did regret. But it was just a little too close).

Earlier this year, I made my Abitur here in Tübingen. And it just seemed the right time to now do something completely different, so I decided to leave Germany for some time. In Ecuador, I’ll first do a Spanish course in Quito for three or four weeks, and then I’ll work at a school in a tiny village near Rioverde in the Esmeraldas province.
